4.6 Packaging inspection. Packaging shall be inspected for conformance with section 5.
5. PACKAGING
5.1 Preservation, packing, and marking. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order preservation, packing, and marking shall be in accordance with ASTM D 3951. When specified (see 6.2) preservation, packing, and marking shall be in accordance with Federal Specification PPP-T-1150, level as specified.
6, NOTES
6.1 Intended use. Round saw blades covered by this description are intended to be used for sawing metal, plastic, wood, and other similar materials.
6.2 Ordering data. Purchasers, should select the preferred options permitted herein, and include the following information in procurement documents:
a. Title, number, and date of this commercial item description.
b. Type, size, and quantity required (see 1.2).
c. Blade length, if required (see 3.8 or 3.9).
d. Packaging in accordance with PPP-T-1150 if required, specify level (see 5.1).
